    The following rubric will be used to rate candidates during dance tryouts.

    Dance Clinic Evaluation Rubric

    The following rubric will be used to rate candidates during the dance clinic. All scores (except discipline) are based off of tryout week only.

    School attendance and discipline from 2024-2025 school year.    		 10
    Attitude & Work Ethic:
    Body language; Interactions with other candidates & coaches; Full outs, taking corrections, not talking over the coach; etc.    		 8
    Correct Equipment:
    Appropriate shoes (tennis shoes, jazz shoes, or half-soles); Solid & appropriate athletic clothes; Hair out of face; No jewelry.    		 5
    Technique:
    Pirouettes, toe touch, seconde turns, center leap/chaine open, kicks.    		 10
