Lead SRO & Central Elementary School

Sergeant Zach Anderson has been in law enforcement for almost 17 years. He started at the Tupelo Police Department before coming to Oxford. He has served as a patrol officer, K9 Officer, SWAT, and SRO. Corporal Anderson loves the Lord, his wife, kids, chickens, playing guitar, and a fresh bowl of Lucky Charms. He loves what he does and the people he serves. He is looking forward to another school year.

Oxford High School

Officer Jeffrey Dukes has been with the Oxford Police Department for 12 years. He is a graduate of Lafayette High School and The University of Alabama where he earned his Bachelors Degree in Management while playing football for the Crimson Tide (ROLL TIDE!). He is married with 3 beautiful girls and a member of Phi Beta Sigma. He loves to coach and play softball during his free time.

Oxford High School

Officer Taylor Shipp is a dedicated law enforcement officer and former professional volleyball player. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss), where she also played volleyball from 2014 to 2017. After leaving Ole Miss, she continued her volleyball career at the University of Kansas (KU) from 2017 to 2018, before playing professionally overseas in Copenhagen, Denmark, and Linz, Austria, from 2018 to 2020.

Officer Ship began her law enforcement career with the Oxford Police Department in 2020 as a patrol officer, later moving to the Madison Police Department in 2022. In 2024, she returned to Oxford Police Department as a School Resource Officer (SRO) at Oxford High School, where she continues to serve the community.

Outside of her career, Officer Shipp is a wife to Joshua Shipp, a mother to one-year-old Joshua, and a stepmother to Makenzi and Rileigh. She is passionate about serving her community in various capacities.

Oxford Middle School

Corporal Marcus Wilson has been with the Oxford Police Department for 14 years. He has served as a patrolman, Housing Officer and Investigator. Wilson graduated from the University of South Panola. He has two kids and loves to do outdoors activities. He is also a member of Phi Beta Sigma.

Officer Brittany Giddens has been with the Oxford Police Department for 8 years. SRO Gilleylen worked patrol before transferring to the SRO Division. She is a certified D.A.R.E. instructor who enjoys educating students on making safe and responsible life choices. She also enjoys learning from the students the latest trends that impact their generation. SRO Gilleylen is a wife and mother who enjoys anything outdoors with her family. Go Chargers!
